Brown Acres wanted to remodel her kitchen, laundry, and bathroom to have a more modern look. Rather than removing the existing floor, she saved a ton of money by painting first with oil based primer, stenciling her outdated linoleum floor with our All The Angles Moroccan Stencil, and then sealing it with polyacrylic gloss. This geometric pattern in a bold black and white color scheme did just the trick!
Jen’s Furniture Rehab loves how our Anastasia Damask Tile Stencil transformed her floor! Young House Love painted this plywood subfloor bathroom floor with our Silk Road Suzani Stencil, semi-gloss paint, and non-toxic poly seal as an alternative to tile. This DIY project is within the budget and time constraints of most amateur design lovers, and is a great floor painting project that can be a great temporary fix until you can afford more expensive flooring. But really, a stenciled floor like this is so beautiful you might want to live with it forever!
Shannon Kaye of the DIY Network and the show “Fresh Coat” wanted to stencil a carpet on a hardwood floor. Postcards from the Ridge was in the process of reclaiming a studio/craft room that had the original 1960’s flooring. It needed some style added to it and a stencil was the perfect way to get it. She chose our Large Moorish Trellis Stencil to mimic the Moroccan patterned rugs that are so popular right now. For an added pop of personality for her stenciled concrete floor finish, she added blue to the details of the stencil pattern. How unique!
