Mandy Fitzgerald is a lover of art and romantic patterns. A few rooms that she wanted to decorate had stark white walls, so she naturally had to do something about to make them appear softer and visually interesting. It was a no brainer that she would turn to Royal Design Studio’s vintage-inspired stencils to decorate a few rooms. Let’s check out how our wall stencils transformed these 4 ordinary rooms into something extraordinarily beautiful:
The most important things a home office needs to inspire are productivity and creativity. Mandy designs beautiful wall art, so a pretty patterned wall to display them is a must! She chose our Spanish Lace Scallop Wall Stencil because it mimicked the feminine feel of her art and has a calming shabby chic look that didn’t distract her productivity. She says our “Spanish Lace Scallop Wall Stencil looks just like wallpaper but without all the mess! I can't even count how many people have come into my office, thought it was wallpaper, and touched the wall to be sure. “
Mandy had a client that came to her to makeover their entry that was dark and felt a like cave. To make this space feel brighter and more welcoming for guests coming in the front door, she suggested light colored décor and a patterned accent wall. The client was already in love with Mandy’s own stenciled room that they immediately accepted her idea. They even used the same Spanish Lace Scallop Wall Stencil because all of our mylar stencils are reusable over and over!
Hallways tend to be forgotten spaces but are really great opportunities to decorate, personalize, and of course stencil! Mandy realized her hallway needed some attention, so she prepped and painted the walls with a smoky gray paint. She also mixed the same paint with white paint to make a lighter shade that would be perfect as the stencil color. Our Donatella Damask Wall Stencil, color scheme, and chandelier give her hallways a soft vintage touch. So chic!
Once seeing Mandy's handy work with her previous stenciled walls, Mandy's grandmother asked her to makeover her sunroom. She loves pink, lace, and flowers so Mandy's design taste was right up her alley! Mandy got to work with our Love Birds Lace Damask Wall Stencil and light pink paint - the perfect pattern for feminine flair. She says, "The pale pink on the walls warms up the small space and makes it so feminine and friendly!"
