Design dilemma - How to afford a custom patterned rug to fit a long entryway? Design solution - use stencils and paint your own! That’s exactly what blogger Brooke Ulrich of All Things Thrifty did to create this custom contemporary rug stencil project. She effectively solved her design dilemma AND implemented a gorgeous conversation piece with the help of our Contempo Trellis Wall Stencil pattern!
Some of the great features of having painted and stenciled floors is that you can measure out the perfect size for your space, use your favorite color combinations, always pick out your preferred pattern and the results are super easy to clean.
Brooke used two stencils in the same Contempo Trellis pattern to help expedite her project and shared a full DIY tutorial on How to Stencil a Floor. She measured out her space and applied her chosen paint colors through the stencil design. She later followed up with great decor and accent pieces which helped enhance the stenciled floor and showcase all the design work. Isn't it amazing?!?
