We're thrilled that pattern designer Bonnie Christine from Going Home to Roost designed a whimsical, nature-inspired Stencil Collection for Royal Design Studio, including some pretty fresh flower stencils! Recently, she also attended the Spring Quilt Market and used some of her own floral stencil designs to help decorate her booth! The new fabric collection that she premiered there for Art Gallery Fabrics was "inspired by sunshiny days and simpler ways, full of sweet summery hues with a very vintage feel". Doesn't that sound dreamy? We think ALL her designs have a beautiful, warm and sweet vibe -- just like Bonnie herself! Let's take a look at the latest colors and patterns that have inspired her.
Market show booths are very bland before a booth is designed and created. Bonnie chose the Falling Daisies Floral Stencil from her collection, which is a soft and romantic allover wall stencil perfect for stenciling a feature wall or a whole room with a custom wallpaper effect. With a beautiful color scheme that worked as a "neutral", the Falling Daisies added an overall flower pattern that allowed all the other colorful and vibrant fabrics and decor elements stand out. Doesn't this sound perfect for a home as well?
Bonnie's Mom came along to help her set up and also stenciled the booth's feature wall. We think she did a phenomenal stenciling job. One can stencil the Falling Daisies Stencil in a single color for a tone-on-tone effect or, as done here, using one of the smaller stencil brushes to isolate different colors in the flower and leaf pattern elements. Of course, why stop there? Bonnie also chose another one of her lovely flower stencil designs for a small, crafty project.
To help add warmth to the space, Bonnie had faux bamboo floor mats installed. She used her Small Daisy Dot Stencil Set to create a bright, cheery floorcloth that helped add pattern and color pop against the wood. So adorable! The Daisy Dot Stencil Set also comes in Medium and Large to help you find the perfect fit for your project. The pattern is fabulous repeated as either a formal or random allover wall treatment. Plus, you can choose your FAV colors. Super versatile!

We look forward to sharing MORE of Bonnie Christine's Stencil Collection in the coming months on a variety of surfaces and we'd love to see what stencil projects YOU create with her designs as well!
