“I just recently moved into a very run down cottage with an old grimy concrete porch. I first painted layers of primer, plus two layers of Annie Sloan Old Ochre Chalk Paint®. Then the stenciling magic with the Anatolia Tile Stencil! People have asked me if it is tile! I added a small bit of French Linen Chalk Paint® to the Annie Sloan Floor Lacquer to give it an older appearance; almost tea stained. “I love your stencils! I’m a frequent user of Wood Icing® plaster and your stencils hold up perfectly with the scrubbing that’s required to clean up after using that.

For the cabinet, I used Florence, Antibes, and Barcelona Chalk Paint®. I used the Zahara Moroccan Furniture Stencil in the panels and troweled over with Wood Icing® and accented with gold gilding wax and clear and dark wax. It was so worth the end result.

For this little cupboard, it originally had a dated look and a very damaged top.  I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, General Finishes in java, and the Zahara Moroccan Furniture Stencil to give this piece new life and spark.  I purchased your set of stencil brushes for this project as well and they were fabulous. 

For the Lisboa Tile Stencil table, I used General Finishes gel stain in java then created an ombré effect on the legs with Design Master Color Tool spray in Rose Gold. Colors are Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Florence and Antibes.” – Denise Marie Saylor

Lisboa Tile Stencil floor makeover by Cathy Rathje

“I transformed a sad, shabby pink table to a sleek, sophisticated tribal chic art piece. I incorporated Raven & Lily Tribal Stencil, Mini Tribal Border Stencils, Graphite and Pure White Chalk Paint®, and clear wax. The Royal Design Studio Stencils really distinguish this piece from ordinary to extraordinary.

I purchased a white shabby chic drop front desk from an antique store and transformed it into modern chic. I painted it with Graphite and Pure White Chalk Paint®, Tribal Batik Furniture Stencil, and Mini Tribal Border Stencils. I also used black wax to soften the edges and give them an antiqued appearance.” – Ernestina Morris

“The project started with the desire to paint the tile floor because the original tile color was dated. We cleaned, sanded, and primed the floor before laying two coats of Old White Chalk Paint® and stenciled it with the Parlor Lace Stencil and French Linen Chalk Paint®. Then sealed with three coats of floor lacquer. Of course the project turned out to be beautiful so we had to paint the walls and change lighting to make the floor ‘pop’. We love it!” – James Stucker

 “This was a beat up dining table that was offered to me as a conference table for my office. I accepted the gift and the challenge. After a lot of sanding, I painted the table with 6 different peacock colors in an outward ombre effect, and then sanded each layer to blend the colors. I stenciled the Laleh Persian Damask Stencil onto the table top with a metallic champagne gold color. Lastly, I used water based MiniWax Polycrylic to seal it.
