I freehanded the water look with 4 teal colors and Modern Masters metallic glaze. I initially was going to do the whole wall, but wanted the illusion of water movement. So I taped a rough edge to help guide me. I started in the middle of my wall and just went for it. I used a Stencil Brush to soften the scales and highlight areas, almost giving it a multidimensional look. Thank you for art inspiration. This was a fun project and my daughter is on cloud nine in her mermaid room.”
