You’ve styled every room of your home but can’t seem to wrap your head around getting style into your laundry room. Take a tip from Jenna Sue Design , who knows that she can give the tedious task of laundry a boost by surrounding herself with pretty pattern. The Spanish Lace Scallop Wall Stencil adds a little incentive to tackle those boring laundry chores! Jenna says, “A bit fancy for a place meant for chores, but that’s what makes it fun and unexpected.” We love the unexpected, how about you?
Restoration Redoux’s laundry room used to be like many others: It was in complete disarray and she always made sure to close the door when she had company over. To make this room a knockout, she’d first have to knock out her clutter and brighten up the space. She bought new cabinets and used an opalescent paint with our Raj Trellis Indian Wall Stencil so the design would catch the light. Now she doesn’t mind if her guests take a glimpse into her laundry room!
My Vintage Porch wanted to decorate her laundry room, an area that was overlooked and made chores uninspiring. She stenciled right over her original floor tiles and says, "I love the old vintage look the Lisboa Tile Stencil gave my floor. Royal Design Studio sends detailed instructions of how to use the stencil. It was so easy to use. And I could not be happier with the after! I love it so much and it ALMOST makes me want to do laundry, or at least live in this room!”
Hello backsplash! Goodbye boring beige walls! Aube Design used Chalk Paint® and our All the Angles Moroccan Wall Stencil for her laundry room makeover. Don't you love it?
Let’s face it, laundry rooms are often far from glamorous, and this one was no exception, but View Along The Way had a vision for stenciled style. In a matter of just a few short days, this uninspiring little room did a complete 180 and what was once an eye sore had suddenly transformed into a bright and cheery accent wall. The peacock feathers wallpaper stencil and Peacock Fancy metallic blue stencil creme paint add a little incentive to tackle those boring laundry chores!
Here’s a laundry room that is dressed-to-impress! Hannon Artworks painted the Moroccan Key Wall Stencil in platinum metallic and opalescent paints by Modern Masters. The light catches the shimmering geometric pattern and star designs beautifully!
Sweet Tea and Saving Grace had had enough of the peeling linoleum and orange walls in this little space. She ripped out the linoleum to expose the concrete and stenciled a modern pattern with our Kaleidoscope Stars Stencil. She finished off the room with new paint, shelving, and appliances. Wow, what a fresh stenciled concrete floor transformation!
How to Nest for Less would have loved to replace her old faithful washer and dryer with newer models, but alas her pocketbook was just not ready for the upgrade. She used our Donatella Damask Stencil, Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan, and water-based polyurethane to seal and protect her “new” washer and dryer. What a beautiful and durable way to freshen up an old washer/dryer!
This washer and dryer set is stenciled by Melissa’s Perfect Piece. She kept it fun with our Polka Party Furniture Stencil, a mix of Emperor’s Silk Chalk Paint® and Old White Chalk Paint®, and matching wall art. How cute is this laundry room… preciously pink yet productive!
And after washing and drying comes... ironing (maybe!) Always Never Done gave her vintage ironing board a dose of Southwest style using our Broken Braid Herringbone Stencil directly on the wood. This contemporary take on a classic pattern would be perfect for the laundry room –a trendy take on a classic chore!
